Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of vesper.yachts and any booking you make with Vesper (“Vesper”) is a customer-facing brand operated by MERYEM YILDIZ TURIZM SEYAHAT ACENTASI, a TÜRSAB A Group travel agency (licence #14316) based in Istanbul, Türkiye. MerrySails provides the shared booking-support mailbox. By enquiring with or booking the operator through Vesper, you agree to these terms.

Enquiries & quotes

Shared sunset departures use the displayed date-aware per-person price and reserve the selected capacity when the online form succeeds. Operated private yachts show a fixed whole-yacht price for the selected duration and reserve when the online form succeeds. Large event yachts and bespoke extras remain quote requests until confirmed in writing. This website does not collect card payment.

Prices & what’s included

Shared sunset sails are €34 without wine or €40 with wine, reduced to €30 and €35 on Mondays and Thursdays. Operated private sunset yachts use the displayed fixed 2–8 hour whole-yacht price. Shared prices and fixed yacht prices are final for the selected date and option; large event yachts and bespoke additions are confirmed in writing. Shared inclusions and the optional wine package are shown before booking. Private charters include captain, crew, fuel, cookies, mixed nuts, soft drinks, tea and water; flowers, cake, photography and other bespoke extras are quoted separately.

Boarding & timing

The shared sail boards at Karaköy Pier, near Balıkçı Kemal. Its confirmed departure time follows the real sunset and shifts with the season; flexible pickup from other Istanbul piers can be arranged on request. Please arrive in good time — we cannot delay departure or refund late arrivals or no-shows.

Changes, cancellation & weather

• Shared reservations may be cancelled without charge until 24 hours before departure. Directly booked operated yachts follow the displayed 24-hour cancellation policy; event-yacht quotes and bespoke extras state any separate deposit terms before confirmation.
• Safety comes first. If weather or sea conditions make sailing unsafe, we may reschedule your cruise to another suitable date or, where that is not possible, offer a refund of amounts paid for the sail.
• We may, in rare cases, adjust the route, vessel or timing for operational or safety reasons while keeping the experience as close as possible to what was booked.

Conduct & safety on board

Guests must follow the crew’s instructions at all times. We may refuse boarding or end a sail, without refund, for behaviour that is unsafe, unlawful or that endangers or disturbs others. Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout.

Liability

We provide our cruises with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vesper is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
