A Vesper birthday yacht is a private charter: the whole boat and crew for your group, from €220 for 2 hours for up to 12 guests, with yachts for 15 and 40 guests and event yachts for up to 150 by quote. From 8 guests it costs less per head than seats on the shared sail (€30–€40). Cake, balloons, music and a photographer are added on request. Vesper is TÜRSAB-licensed (A Group #14316).

Which yacht fits your birthday group?
Start from the head count, not the boat. Up to twelve guests, the smallest yachts take you for €220; thirteen to fifteen need one of the 15-guest yachts; from sixteen to forty there is one group yacht with a sound system and a deck for dancing. Beyond forty, the event yachts are quoted to the evening. Every price on this page is for the whole boat and 2 hours, with fixed prices through 8 hours in the planner.
When does a private yacht cost less than shared seats?
A seat on the shared sunset sail starts at €30 midweek and reaches €40 at the weekend with wine. The smallest private yacht is €220 for the whole boat, so from 8 guests the private charter is cheaper per head than even the lowest shared seat — and the deck, the music and the moment the cake comes out belong to your group alone.
Cake, balloons, music: what can be added?
On a private yacht we can arrange a cake with the set-up, confetti and balloons, flowers, a DJ, a violinist or a Turkish music group, a photographer and a drinks package. These are quoted to your plan rather than sold from a price list; the one fixed figure is the meal menu, from €55 per person, chosen with you. Tell us the guest of honour's name and age when you write and we put it on the cake.
What time should a birthday sail start?
Private charters start on the hour, from 09:00 to 23:00, subject to the yacht and date. Istanbul's sunset moves from about 17:36 in December to 20:40 in June; start about an hour before it and the candles go out with the light still on the water. For a party that carries on after dark, a 3- or 4-hour charter keeps you aboard as the bridges light up.

Celebrating as two or three? The shared sunset sail takes the same route from €30 a seat. Because other guests are aboard on a fixed schedule, the one extra it can take is the birthday celebration (cake & setup); for music, balloons or more time on the water, book a private sunset yacht.

- How much does a birthday yacht cost in Istanbul?
- With Vesper the whole yacht starts at €220 for 2 hours for up to 12 guests. The price is for the boat, not per person, and includes crew, fuel, the Bosphorus route, soft drinks and a snack platter. Cake, decoration, music and photography are quoted on top.
- How many people can come to a birthday on the yacht?
- From two guests up to 150. Up to 15 guests choose between the boutique and 15-guest yachts, up to 40 take the group yacht, and larger parties use the event yachts by quote.
- Can we celebrate a birthday on the shared sunset sail?
- Yes, on a small scale. The shared sail carries other guests on a fixed schedule, so the only extra it can take is the birthday celebration (cake & setup). Seats start at €30. Music, balloons or a longer sail need a private yacht.
- Can we bring our own cake?
- Tell us when you book and we confirm it for your yacht. We can also order the cake for you and have it aboard and ready before you arrive.
- Where does the birthday yacht leave from?
- Private charters usually board at Karaköy Pier, near Balıkçı Kemal. Because the boat is yours, we can confirm another berth closer to your group on WhatsApp.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Directly booked operated yachts can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. Inside 24 hours, no-shows and late arrivals are non-refundable. Event-yacht quotes and bespoke extras may carry their own deposit terms, stated before you confirm.
