Can you charter a private yacht in Istanbul on New Year's Eve, and what does it cost?

How does booking a yacht for New Year's Eve work?
You do not book 31 December in the online calendar. Send us a message with your date and guest count and we reply with the yacht that is free, the boarding time and the price for that night in writing. Nothing is charged until you accept the quote. The fleet runs from a yacht for 12 guests up to an event yacht for 150, and each yacht carries one group only.
How much does a New Year's Eve yacht cost?
The price is by written quote. We have not published a fixed 31 December rate, so we will not guess one here: the figure depends on the yacht, how many hours you want and anything you add on board, and you see it in full before you decide. The everyday prices for other dates are on the private yacht page, but they do not apply to 31 December.
What time can the charter start?
On any ordinary date the planner lists private charter starts every hour on the hour, from 09:00 to 23:00, and we never use half-hour starts. For 31 December we confirm the exact hour in your quote. Tell us whether you want only the last sunset of the year, which falls at about 17:44, or a longer evening that runs on after dark.
What should you plan for the night?
A private yacht on 31 December is a quiet way to see out the year, with your own deck and a licensed local crew. Fireworks are put on by the city, not by us, so we do not promise them or a view of any particular display. If you want dinner, a cake, flowers or music on board, say so in your first message and we price it in the same reply.

Sunset on 31 December is at about 17:44. Private guests board about 45 minutes before it, which is 16:59. Charters start on the whole hour, so a 17:00 start is the natural fit; we confirm the exact hour in your quote.
A longer evening after dark
If you want to stay out once the light has gone, say how many hours in your first message. Extra hours are priced in the same written quote, and we tell you before you accept whether the yacht is free for them.
We do not publish a midnight plan on this page. Fireworks are the city's, so we do not promise a view of any display; tell us if midnight on the water matters to you and we say in the quote what the yacht can and cannot do.

Getting to Karaköy Pier and home again
Yachts leave from Karaköy Pier. A different pier is possible on request; message us first, as the time and price can change. Hotel pickup and transfers are not included, so plan your own way there and back on a busy night.
- T1 tram
- Get off at Karaköy. The pier is four minutes along the water, past the ferry terminal.
- Marmaray
- Sirkeci, then across Galata Bridge on foot — about twelve minutes, and the boats are in view the whole way.
- From İstiklal
- The Tünel funicular drops you at Karaköy in ninety seconds, which beats the walk down the hill.
- By car or taxi
- Ask for Karaköy Meydanı. The last stretch to the water is pedestrian, so you are set down a minute short of the pier.
